Growing up, I was always the organized kid. With 3 other siblings, I was never the one "in trouble" for a messy room. Really, the mundane tasks of organizing my mom didn't want to do was my joy.
And throughout my life that remained the same... until I became a teacher.
See, I went to school for business, but learned about a teaching organization my senior year in college. I applied, got accepted, and 4 weeks after my college graduation I packed my Ford Explorer with EVERYTHING I owned and drove cross- country (900 miles) to Oklahoma City.
But that's when everything shifted. New environment, no friends, new career, and no more structure.
I was thrust into 12 hour workdays only to get home to work another six hours before calling it quits for the night. Weeks and months of this routine, and my house was in SHAMBLES. And not just my home, but my life was too. I overworked myself, my procrastination was on level 1,000, I gained an insane amount of weight, and I just wasn't happy, and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.
I mean, it wasn't like me, all this time I've created structure for myself, and one big move, and the structure was gone.
And then it dawned on me... Come up with a new strategy and shift your mindset.
So often we're shown the beautifully curated, organized spaces that promises you the" you can get this look too," when we should be focusing on the framework or process to actually achieve it.
I am teaching you how to finally achieve the functionally organized home you desire without the serious overwhelm or overtime.
